Acrylic colour coatings

The additional layer of acrylic glass applied on the external side of the profile in the process of coextrusion makes acrylic coated profile windows significantly more durable than conventional PVC profile ones.

Benefits of acrylic colour coatings

  • Accurate rendition of colours
Acrylic is an incredibly resistant material. Since it preserves the colour even under long-term and intense exposure to atmospheric conditions, it has been used for decades in the automotive industry. If individual windows in a building are replaced step by step over a longer period of time, differences in colour will be almost imperceptible for years.
  • Easy maintenance
Windows made of profiles with acrylic colour coatings hardly ever need maintenance and they are easy to keep clean. You can be sure that you will never have to scrape the old paint off the windows or repaint them. As a consequence, there will be no additional costs. The windows are resistant to dirt and so easy to clean that you will not need any special cleaning agents to do that.
  • Resistance to scratching
The surface of windows made of acrylic colour profiles is matt, smooth and non-porous. Melting of PVC and acrylic in high temperatures makes the windows particularly resistant. That is why they demonstrate a significant level of resistance to scratching, dust and dirt.
  • High reflection
Most of the solar radiation is reflected off the white surface under the acrylic coating, which transmits infrared radiation. Thanks to this solution, the phenomenon of profile heating has been significantly reduced. Temperature differences resulting from heating of white and dark profiles are surprisingly slight.
  • 100% recyclable
Windows made of acrylic coated profiles are totally recyclable. Windows made of acrylic coated profiles are totally recyclable. Used windows are cleaned and ground down to pellets. As a result, we obtain 100% valuable raw materials, which can be used in the manufacturing of new products. This ensures a closed material cycle.
